This notice covers the public website, enquiries sent to the branch, applications submitted through the linked monday.com WorkForm, and the photographs used on this site.
180 Degrees Consulting Delft–Rotterdam is a student-run, non-profit consulting branch based at TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam. For the processing described here, the branch acts as the data controller.
Contact: delft.rotterdam@180dc.org
Address: Leopoldstraat 7A, 3031 ST Rotterdam, the Netherlands
The website does not use advertising trackers, behavioural profiling, embedded social-media feeds or visitor analytics. It does not maintain its own visitor database.
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. Like other web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare processes technical request information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested page, timestamp and security events. We use this processing only to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site, based on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website.
We do not receive this technical information for marketing. Cloudflare may process information outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its Data Processing Addendum and privacy policy.
If you email us, we process your name, contact details, message and any attachments to answer the enquiry, consider a potential engagement, or administer the relationship you asked us to enter. The legal basis is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in responding to branch enquiries.
Only people who need the correspondence for that purpose should receive access. We retain it only while it remains necessary for the enquiry, relationship, legal obligations or the resolution of a dispute.
Applications are collected through a public monday.com WorkForm. The form asks for identity and contact details, university and programme information, role preferences, an optional LinkedIn URL, a CV, motivation letter, grade transcript and how the applicant heard about the branch.
We use this information only to assess eligibility and suitability, communicate about the selection process, organise interviews and administer recruitment. The legal bases are taking steps at the applicant's request and our legitimate interest in selecting branch members fairly and consistently.
monday.com processes submissions for us and creates a record in the branch's connected board. If an applicant uses “Save as draft”, monday.com may also retain partial answers before submission. Following the application link connects the applicant's browser directly to monday.com.
Access is limited to authorised members involved in recruitment and branch administration. monday.com and its subprocessors may process information outside the European Economic Area under its Data Processing Addendum and applicable transfer safeguards. More information is available in monday.com's privacy overview.
Information from unsuccessful applications is deleted within four weeks after the selection process ends, unless a separate agreement or legal requirement permits longer retention. Information needed for successful applicants is transferred into the branch's member administration; selection documents that are no longer needed are deleted.
Applicants should not include unnecessary sensitive information such as health information, identification numbers, nationality, photographs or home addresses in uploaded documents.
The website publishes the names, branch roles and 180dc.org email addresses of current branch representatives so organisations, students and members can reach the appropriate person. This is based on the branch's legitimate interest in transparent public contact. People shown on the site can request a correction or removal at any time.
The branch website itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Its font files and site assets are served from the same website.
The website links to the monday.com application form rather than embedding it. monday.com may use technical storage or cookies needed to operate, secure and save progress in the form after a visitor follows that link. Instagram, LinkedIn and other external sites likewise receive information only when a visitor follows their link.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email delft.rotterdam@180dc.org with enough information for us to identify the relevant record.
You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
